The role-Assistant Manager- Procurement

What you’ll be responsible for

• Responsible for arrangement of raw materials to ensure timely landing of innovations as per plan.
• Accountable for driving the VIP projects governance in Ice Cream business.
• Vendor scouting for new materials/formulation changes in close co-ordination with R&D team.
• Identification of alternate vendors / materials needed for innovation projects.
• Induction / Onboarding of vendors as per responsible sourcing & statutory compliance requirements.
• Procurement SPOC in network calls for new innovations requiring liaising with cross functional teams.
• Responsible to lead the Resilience pillar for Ice cream business.
• Understand, analyze various market trends & competitor information to develop effective sourcing strategies.
• Co-ordination with global buyers for long term contracts/coverage basis demand for materials under assigned portfolio.
• Formulation of strategies for localization to meet PLI criteria for Ice Cream business in India.
• Delivery of sourcing strategy, implementation through contracting and negotiations.
• Driving Sustainability, Cost, Cash, Service, Quality targets.
• Responsible to manage all initiatives associated with the quality and safety.
• Effective supplier communications and engagement in key programs
• Execution & Reporting of all cost-effective programs – Light house savings, Lead 5S initiatives, Business as usual saving projects and NMCI mitigation
• Evaluate/analyze & track the Procurement related OKR’s and identifying initiatives to improve on the same.

We’re looking for someone who

• At least 8-10 years solid experience in Procurement/Supply chain operations.
• Experience of handling new product innovations.
• Experience on large-scale project management roles.
• Proficient in usage of PowerPoint for business reporting
• Stakeholder management & efficient conflict management
• Good buying, negotiation, and contracting skills
