Role Description

We are hiring an Assistant Manager Purchasing for a full-time, on-site role located in Kathua. Key responsibilities include sourcing and procuring materials, negotiating contracts with suppliers, monitoring supply chain operations, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring cost efficiency while maintaining quality standards. Additional duties involve inventory management, reporting, and forecasting future purchasing needs in alignment with business objectives.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in procurement, sourcing, and supplier contract negotiation
• Strong analytical skills for inventory management and demand forecasting
• Understanding of supply chain processes and cost-efficiency practices
• Excellent communication, vendor relationship management, and collaboration abilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and SAP software
• Problem-solving skills with attention to detail and decision-making capabilities
• Relevant experience in the FMCG or beverage industry is an advantage
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
