Assistant Manager – SEO (Search Engine Optimization) Full Time


The candidate should be responsible for managing all SEO activities such as content strategy, link building and keyword strategy to increase rankings on all major search networks.

Job Description

  • Minimum 5 years of solid experience in managing SEO for the reputed B2C brands.
  • Minimum 3 years of in-depth experience in YouTube & Amazon SEO
  • Should be expert in Competition research, On-page and Off-page SEO
  • Solid experience in bringing high volume keywords on the first page of Google
  • Working experience with a digital marketing agency is preferred.
  • In-depth understanding of digital marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition
  • In-depth experience with website analytics tools (e.g, Google Analytics, Google Webmasters, & WebTrends)
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, WordPress and JavaScript development and constraints
  • Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Ensure that the SEO strategy is implemented accordingly to drive website traffic, conversions, and revenue
  • Managing YouTube SEO
  • Develop and implement organic search campaigns, including content ideation and planning, content development in all languages, video production, content seeding and reporting
  • Optimize copy and landing pages for search engine marketing
  • Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimization
  • Research and implement on-page and off-page SEO recommendations
  • Research and analyze competitors SEO strategy
  • Create detailed reports on SEO performance
  • Develop and implement link building strategy
  • Execute tests, collect and analyze data and results, identify trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROI
  • Track, report, and analyze website analytics
  • Work with the team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code
  • Work with editorial and other teams to drive SEO in content creation and content programming
  • Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.
