Assistant Manager – Logistics & Operations

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to support and coordinate logistics and transportation operations. The ideal candidate should have strong organizational skills, hands-on logistics experience, excellent communication abilities, and the capability to manage operational activities efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily logistics and transportation operations.
• Maintain and develop relationships with transporters, vendors, and customers.
• Monitor shipments and ensure timely delivery.
• Prepare operational reports and data analysis using Microsoft Excel.
• Draft professional emails and communicate effectively with customers and suppliers.
• Assist in managing transportation costs and operational efficiency.
• Coordinate with internal departments for smooth execution of shipments.
• Resolve operational issues and provide timely solutions.
• Support management in achieving business and operational objectives.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and service standards.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Logistics, Transportation, Freight Forwarding, or Supply Chain Management.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (reports, formulas, data analysis, and operational tracking).
• Good contacts and working relationships with transporters and logistics service providers.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong email drafting and business correspondence skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Good problem-solving and coordination skills.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree (Graduate) is mandatory.

Language Requirements

• Fluent in English, Telugu, and Hindi.
• Knowledge of Tamil will be an added advantage.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Experience in freight forwarding, transportation, or logistics operations.
• Customer-oriented approach.
• Strong coordination and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Experience Required: 5+ Years

Salary: Negotiable based on experience and qualifications.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 – ₹40,000.00 per month
