AlienHouse Networks is looking for a Back end Developer Intern to help us build and maintain the core systems powering our platform. You’ll work on everything from admin services to seller-facing APIs in a remote-first, collaborative environment.

🎯 Role Overview

In this role, you’ll gain hands-on experience designing scalable APIs and working with production-grade back end architectures. You will be an integral part of our engineering team, contributing to the very systems that empower businesses and elevate brands.

🧩 Key Responsibilities:

•  Develop & Maintain: Build back end services using Python and Django.
• API Development: Enhance RESTFUL APIs using Django REST Framework (DRF).
• Admin Services: Design and implement services for project verification and management.
• Data Management: Manage relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL.
• Collaboration: Work closely with front end teams and participate in code reviews.
• Architecture: Learn and contribute to micro service-based architecture.

🛠 Skills We’re Looking For:

• Core: Strong fundamentals in Python and hands-on experience with Django.
• APIs: Basic knowledge of Django REST Framework (DRF) and API development concepts.
• Databases: Understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred).
• Bonus Points: Familiarity with Git, Docker, Redis, or Celery.
