About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Freelance/Contract Backend Developer to support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of enterprise-grade software applications at Education Dynamics, Inc. Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess a minimum of 7 years of professional experience in backend software development, with demonstrated expertise in C#, .NET Framework, and .NET Core. A comprehensive understanding of backend architecture, distributed systems, and API development is essential. Candidates should have hands-on experience with modern AI-assisted development tools, workflows, and automation practices to enhance productivity and code quality.

Proficiency in SQL and relational databases such as SQL Server or PostgreSQL is required, along with experience working on cloud platforms like AWS or Azure. Familiarity with Docker and containerized deployments, as well as object-oriented design principles and security protocols (OAuth, JWT), is necessary. Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills are vital to succeed in this role, especially within a freelance or contract capacity where independence and accountability are key.

Additional desirable qualifications include experience with microservices architecture, Kubernetes or AWS ECS, front-end frameworks like Angular or React, and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins. Responsibilities

• Contribute to the implementation of security, authentication, and authorization mechanisms, including OAuth and JWT.
