Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Manager (BDM) role based in Surat. The BDM will identify and qualify new business opportunities, build and manage a robust sales pipeline, and proactively reach out to potential clients through calls, meetings, events, and digital channels. The role includes understanding client requirements, presenting DEONICS’ technology services (such as software, web, app, cloud, and cybersecurity solutions), and preparing proposals, quotations, and presentations aligned with client needs. The BDM will negotiate commercial terms, close deals, and coordinate with internal technical and delivery teams to ensure a smooth handover and high client satisfaction. Daily tasks also involve maintaining accurate CRM records, tracking sales metrics, providing market and competitor insights, and collaborating with leadership to achieve revenue targets and support long-term growth.
Qualifications

• Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in IT services, software, or technology consulting.
• Strong skills in lead generation, pipeline management, and opportunity qualification, with the ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to explain technical solutions in clear business terms.
• Good understanding of IT services such as software development, web and app development, cloud, cybersecurity, and consulting (or willingness to learn quickly).
• Ability to build long-term client relationships, manage stakeholder expectations, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Comfort with using CRM tools, productivity software, and online research to manage accounts and analyze market trends.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent business qualification is an advantage.
• Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work independently on-site in Surat with a focus on integrity and customer success.
