Role Overview
We’re looking for a Brand Marketer who lives and breathes brand thinking, storytelling, and consumer insight. This role sits at the heart of how SEREKO shows up—across campaigns, product launches, content, community, and culture.
You will be responsible for shaping brand communication that is emotionally resonant, strategically sound, and performance-aware.
This is not a pure “marketing execution” role—this is for someone who can think why before how, and turn insight into creative that actually moves people.

Key ResponsibilitiesBrand Strategy & Communication
• Own and evolve SEREKO’s brand voice, narrative, and communication across all touchpoints—digital, offline, performance, PR, and experiential.
• Ensure consistency and clarity of brand messaging across platforms (website, social, ads, packaging, events, collaborations).
• Translate psychodermatology insights into relatable, consumer-first storytelling.
Creative Copywriting & Content Direction
• Lead creative copywriting for campaigns, product launches, ads, website, emails, and brand decks.
• Develop strong creative briefs for designers, videographers, and external partners.
• Review and refine all brand-facing content to ensure it aligns with brand tone, positioning, and consumer psychology.
Campaign Planning & Execution
• Conceptualise, plan, and execute brand campaigns from ideation to launch, including digital-first and integrated campaigns.
• Own end-to-end brand marketing for new product launches—from positioning and messaging to go-to-market strategy.
• Work closely with performance, social, and influencer teams to ensure campaigns are both creative-led and insight-driven.
Consumer Behaviour & Data Insights
• Deeply analyse customer data, feedback, reviews, and behaviour to identify patterns, emotional triggers, and white spaces.
• Use insights to inform campaign ideas, creatives, messaging angles, and channel strategy.
• Continuously refine brand communication based on learnings and performance.
Creative Ads & Assets
• Conceptualise high-performing creative angles for ads based on consumer behaviour and intent.
• Guide the development of ad creatives, scripts, hooks, and narratives that drive recall and resonance—not just clicks.
• Collaborate with performance teams to iterate creatives based on data insights.
Offline Events, Pop-ups & Experiences
• Plan and execute offline brand experiences including pop-ups, events, brand activations, and community meet-ups.
• Ensure offline experiences are deeply aligned with brand philosophy and storytelling.
• Own brand presence, communication, and experience design at physical touchpoints.
Community Building & Brand Collaborations
• Identify and plug SEREKO into relevant community-building opportunities—wellness, skincare, mental health, and lifestyle spaces.
• Conceptualise collaborations and partnerships that feel authentic and brand-aligned.
• Help build long-term brand love, recall, and cultural relevance beyond paid media.
What We’re Looking For
• 2–3 years of experience in a D2C brand, preferably skincare, beauty, or wellness.
• Strong creative copywriting skills with a deep understanding of tone, emotion, and consumer psychology.
• Proven experience in campaign planning, product launch marketing, and brand storytelling.
• Strong grasp of consumer behaviour, customer data, and insight-led marketing.
• Ability to think strategically while executing fast in a startup environment.
• Comfortable working cross-functionally with performance marketing, design, product, and founders.
