Role Summary
The Operations Lead at Mindshaft Media Pvt. Ltd. is the senior-most functional manager within the Operations — Execution and Vendor Management team, bearing full accountability for the end-to-end execution of all client campaigns from pitch planning to project closure. The Operations Lead is the operational nerve-centre of MMPL — the person who turns creative ideas into flawlessly executed on-ground realities, who manages the vendor ecosystem, who governs the profit margin on every project, and who ensures that the Operations function operates as a cohesive, high-performance, compliance-disciplined team.
The role spans three critical phases: New Pitches (costing, feasibility, element planning, and vendor empanelment before a mandate is confirmed), Work in Progress (campaign execution, vendor coordination, promoter briefing, profit margin maintenance, and daily updates to CS and NBD), and Project Closure (internal expense sheets, vendor payment plans, final documentation submitted to Finance post management approval). The Operations Lead is the primary decision-maker within the function, the escalation point for the sub-team, and the primary representative of Operations in client execution meetings and senior briefings.
As a team leader, the Operations Lead is accountable not only for personal execution quality but for the governance conduct, SOP compliance, and performance of all team members — Assistant Managers, Senior Executives, and Executives. All activities must be conducted in strict adherence to MMPL’s SOPs, with every approval obtained in physical written form, and all budget commitments within the AOP framework.
