Business Head – Spices Processing & International Business Full Time

Position Summary

We are seeking an entrepreneurial and commercially driven Business Head to establish, scale, and lead a global spices business focused on chili, turmeric, and value-added spice products. The role goes beyond conventional trading and requires a leader who can build an integrated spices processing and export business, including setting up world-class processing facilities, developing value-added products, driving international market penetration, and managing complete P&L responsibility.

The incumbent will be responsible for formulating the business strategy, establishing processing operations, ensuring compliance with international food safety standards, building global customer relationships, and creating a sustainable competitive advantage through technology, quality, and innovation.

• Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute a 3–5-year growth strategy for the spices business
• Transform the business from commodity trading to value-added food ingredient manufacturing
• Identify growth opportunities across international markets including North America, Europe, Middle East, Asia-Pacific, and Africa
• Develop market entry strategies for processed spices, seasonings, spice blends, oleoresins, extracts, and customized ingredient solutions
• Own and manage complete business P&L
• Drive revenue growth, EBITDA improvement, working capital optimization, and return on invested capital
• Evaluate and select suitable processing technologies.
• Build relationships with global food processors, ingredient companies, seasoning manufacturers, retail brands, and distributors
• Expand export business through direct customer acquisition and strategic partnerships

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Food Technology, Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Agriculture, Food Science, or related discipline
• MBA from a reputed institute preferred
• 20 years of experience in spices, food ingredients, food processing, seasoning, nutraceuticals, or agro-processing sector
• Proven experience in establishing or scaling food processing operation
• Strong international business development and export experience
• Demonstrated success managing a significant P&
• Experience in greenfield projects and manufacturing setup preferre
• Strong understanding of spice processing technologies
• Knowledge of chili and turmeric value chain
• Understanding of oleoresins, extracts, seasonings, and ingredient solution
• Entrepreneurial mindset with startup-building capabilit
• Strategic thinking and commercial acumen.
