CAD Technician – Civil (Hydro) Full Time NEW

• Produce and adapt accurate plans for hydroelectric projects, including generating stations, substations, spillways, embankments, and earthworks.
• Carry out 3D modelling (Civil 3D, Revit or Catia) to support technical coordination and the integration of installations.
• Prepare reinforced concrete, steel, embankment, and earthworks drawings.
• Collaborate closely with engineers and other disciplines (electrical, civil, geotechnical, structural, heavy mechanical) to ensure coherent and efficient design.
• Contribute to meeting quality standards and deadlines by applying rigor and precision to every deliverable.
• Actively participate in solving technical challenges and improving work methods within the team.

Qualifications

• Vocational diploma in drafting or equivalent training in CAD/CADD.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in civil/structural drafting or CAD/CADD modeling in a consulting engineering or energy project context.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and ease with 3D tools (Civil 3D, Revit, Inventor, Catia).
• Ability to work on multidisciplinary projects and adapt to the technical requirements of a transforming environment.
• Curiosity, rigor, and a desire to learn from experienced teams.
• Comfortable working in an international consulting environment while delivering projects in Canada.
• Strong communication skills.
