About the Role
We are looking for a Category & Merchandising Manager to drive category growth, product visibility, assortment strategy, pricing logic, and on-site merchandising across our D2C business.
This role will be responsible for maximizing revenue, improving AOV, increasing product discoverability, and ensuring that the right products are presented to the right customers at the right time.
Key Responsibilities
* Own category growth plans across assigned product lines
* Manage assortment strategy, hero SKU identification, and product prioritization
* Plan pricing architecture, bundle strategy, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities
* Improve category page, collection page, homepage, and PDP merchandising
* Work closely with performance, creative, retention, and operations teams to improve category revenue and profitability
* Analyze product-level sales, margin, conversion, stock movement, and customer behavior
* Build promotional calendars for launches, festive periods, and high-intent demand windows
* Identify underperforming SKUs, dead stock risks, and opportunities for assortment improvement
* Launch product bundles and merchandising campaigns to improve AOV and conversion
* Ensure category visibility aligns with business goals, seasonality, and stock availability
Required Qualifications
* 3+ years of relevant experience in category management, merchandising, or e-commerce business roles
* Strong understanding of product assortment, pricing, promotions, and D2C conversion drivers
* Experience working with product, marketing, and operations teams
* Strong analytical and commercial thinking
* Comfortable using spreadsheets, dashboards, and e-commerce reporting tools
* Strong ownership and execution mindset
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in Shopify-led D2C brands
* Experience in categories such as spiritual commerce, wellness, beauty, gifting, jewelry, or lifestyle
* Familiarity with bundling, AOV optimization, and product discoverability strategies
* Experience with marketplaces or omnichannel merchandising is a plus
