Key Responsibilities

• Lead design and planning of traction power systems including OHE/third rail, traction substations (TSS), SCADA, and power supply arrangements.
• Prepare and review design drawings, calculations, load flow studies, and technical specifications.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards, codes, safety norms, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with system integration, signalling, civil, and electrical teams for seamless design integration.
• Review and approve contractor designs, shop drawings, and engineering submissions.
• Support tender preparation, technical evaluation, and procurement for traction power systems.
• Optimize designs through value engineering and energy-efficient solutions.
• Address and resolve design issues and site challenges during execution.
• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of traction power systems.
• Conduct technical reviews, inspections, and performance assessments.
• Ensure proper documentation, design records, and as-built drawings.
• Support trial runs and system readiness for commercial operations.

• Graduate in Engineering
• Total Experience: 23 years
• Relevant Experience: 7 years in Metro/Rail.
