Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Computer Technician role based in Bengaluru. The Computer Technician will install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, peripherals, and related hardware in alignment with internal standards. Daily responsibilities include providing technical support to team members, diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, and performing routine computer maintenance. The role also involves managing operating system updates, ensuring system security and virus protection, and maintaining accurate records of repairs and configurations. The technician will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure minimal downtime and a reliable technology environment that supports Mindenious’s educational platform.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Technical Support, including end-user assistance, ticket handling, and issue escalation when necessary.
• Proficiency in Computer Maintenance and Computer Repair, including hardware installation, upgrades, and preventive maintenance.
• Solid Troubleshooting abilities to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues efficiently.
• Working knowledge of major Operating Systems (e.g., Windows, macOS, Linux) and basic system administration tasks.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Comfort working on-site in a fast-paced environment, with strong time management and organizational skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to explain technical issues in accessible terms.
• Industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft, or similar) and experience in an educational or tech environment are beneficial.
