Consie | Content Creator & Storyteller (UGC + Copy) Full Time

Location: Delhi, India (in-person preferred)

Engagement Type: Part-Time Contractor / Freelance

Commitment: 10–20 hours per week initially

Compensation: $25–$35/hour USD or project/retainer-based

Duration: Initial 90-day engagement with opportunity for long-term growth as Consie scales

We’re looking for someone who naturally sees stories everywhere. Someone excited to spend time with founders, brands, products, and creative spaces, then transform those moments into content that helps people understand not only what something is, but why it matters.

This is not a traditional social media manager role.

We’re looking for someone who can help bring Consie’s world to life.

Role Overview

You will help capture and create content with the brands featured on Consie while helping tell the larger story of modern Indian design, craftsmanship, and culture.

This role combines:

• Content creation
• UGC creation
• Lifestyle storytelling
• Copywriting support
• Light editorial thinking

You should be comfortable both behind and in front of the camera and excited about turning real moments into compelling stories.

Responsibilities
Brand & Product Storytelling

• Visit partner brands, studios, workshops, and showrooms
• Capture behind-the-scenes moments, products, and processes
• Highlight craftsmanship and authentic moments
• Surface stories that create emotional connection and curiosity

Content Creation

Create content for:

• Instagram Reels
• Stories
• UGC-style videos
• Lifestyle content
• Light photography assets
• Website/editorial content
• Email snippets
• Paid ad concepts

Copy & Story Development

Responsibilities include:

• Writing Reel hooks
• Drafting captions
• Writing Story sequences
• Suggesting content angles
• Translating observations into compelling narratives
• Developing first-pass copy aligned with Consie’s voice

We’re not expecting perfect copy. We’re looking for someone who can remove the blank page and create strong first drafts.

Content Planning

• Participate in weekly planning sessions
• Proactively suggest story ideas
• Identify seasonal moments, cultural moments, and content opportunities
• Build a running list of content concepts and ideas

What We’re Looking For

Required:

• Strong iPhone content creation skills
• Strong written English
• Strong storytelling instincts
• Comfortable interviewing people and making them feel at ease
• Experience creating short-form and UGC content
• Editing experience (CapCut, Canva, Premiere, etc.)
• Ability to think beyond trends and focus on stories

Bonus:

• Photography experience
• Editorial or journalism background
• Experience in fashion, lifestyle, interiors, culture, or design
• Existing network within Delhi’s creative ecosystem

Success in the First 90 Days

• Build a repeatable content capture process with partner brands
• Produce a consistent stream of lifestyle and product content
• Deliver content with first-pass captions and story angles requiring minimal refinement
• Help establish recognizable storytelling pillars for Consie

Screening Questions

2. If you visited a brand studio for one hour, what types of content would you capture and why?
3. Write a sample caption for a handcrafted or design-led product that explains why someone should care beyond its appearance.
