Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated SAP Basis Administrator with 4+ years of experience to deliver consistent, high-performance SAP systems that support critical business operations.
The ideal candidate will provide 24×7 support on a rotational basis, ensuring system health, performance, and security across diverse SAP landscapes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 24×7 rotational support for critical SAP systems
- Monitor SAP applications using Focused Run (FRUN) or Cloud ALM, identify issues, and provide recommendations
- Perform system health checks (production/non-production) to ensure availability and performance
- Manage data growth, deletion/partitioning, and analyze trends with actionable recommendations
- Ensure robust security monitoring, updates, and compliance
- Administer transport management via ChaRM or CTMS
- Perform system installations, upgrades, system copies, and kernel upgrades
- Support batch jobs, interface, and channel monitoring
- Troubleshoot technical issues and deliver root cause analysis (RCA)
- Maintain accurate system documentation, configurations, and maintenance records.
Tools & T-Codes Involved:
- FRUN, Cloud ALM, STMS, DB02, SARA, SUIM, ST03N, SM20, SPAM, SUM, etc.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of SAP Basis experience in medium to large-scale environments
- Experience across multiple SAP products
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of SAP kernel upgrades, system copy, and admin tasks
- SAP Basis certification is a plus
