We are looking for Should costing Engineer
Experience: 4-8 years
Location: Chennai, Bangalore.
- Define and implement cost management tactics, oversee day-to-day costing activities and develop regional competencies of team and supporting staff.
- Identification of potential suppliers & Preliminary Evaluation of Indian suppliers.
- Creation of RFQ (request for quote) pack, supplier NDA (Non-disclosure agreements) formalities.
- RFQ sharing and follow up with suppliers for Quotes.
- Resolving Supplier queries with help from technical team
- Short listing of suppliers based on data analytics (Cost, quality, delivery)
- Participate in On site audits/ visits & support cross-functional team members to finalize the techno -commercials with suppliers
- Sourcing cost out projects, part rationalization and supply base optimization projects through data analytics, spend analysis, Zero based cost estimations and market analysis.
- Study of input data along with product development engineer & Supplier Technical Assistance to development of Sourcing Charter
- Work in cross functional teams to manage the on-time implementation of New Product Initiatives (NPI) globally, at optimum cost and right quality.
- Manage on-going customer relationships and resolve any service issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Ownership of timely delivery of all new programs, Global Line Reviews & Internal Line reviews.
- Provide leadership and scoping support in assigned categories. Identify best overall business case to customer.
- Manage broad and deep cost for part, tool & R&D.
- NPV Analysis.
- Support to negotiate for the best commercial and technical package for procurement requirements.
- Collaborate with Global Cost Managers and Global Engineering Teams to support new initiatives
