Our client is an established international luxury group with a clear growth agenda for India over the next three years. As the business enters a pivotal expansion phase, the group is focused on deepening brand presence through elevated, high-touch retail experiences while building the infrastructure to scale sustainably.
The Role
Reporting to the Regional Managing Director, the Country Manager holds full P&L accountability for India and leads an integrated team spanning commercial and corporate functions. The mandate is ambitious — doubling the business within five years — and requires someone capable of both setting strategic direction and executing with rigour on the ground.

The Candidate
The ideal candidate is degree-qualified with at least 15 years of experience in luxury retail management or a comparable service-driven general management role. You have a demonstrated track record of delivering results in complex, fast-moving environments and bring an entrepreneurial mindset — comfortable crafting non-traditional solutions where conventional approaches fall short.
Strong leadership presence, commercial acumen, analytical rigour, and the ability to influence and negotiate across a matrixed organisation are essential. Prior experience operating in or leading the India market will be a distinct advantage.
