Role Description

We are looking for an Application Admin/Support Engineer with expertise in PTC tools such as Creo, Windchill, OnShape and other 3D CAD tools such as SolidWorks and NX. The engineer will be responsible for monitoring the support ticketing portal and communication channels such as Slack, ensuring all incoming requests are acknowledged and addressed within a 1-hour SLA. They will present a weekly summary of support requests to the broader team, highlighting trends, recurring issues, and resolution metrics. Additionally, the engineer will proactively identify opportunities for automation to eliminate repetitive tasks and streamline support workflows, driving continuous improvement in operational efficiency. Additional responsibilities include installing, configuring, upgrading, and maintaining PTC tools and other 3D CAD platforms (SolidWorks, Siemens NX) across enterprise environments, administering license servers, monitoring utilization, managing role-based access control, and ensuring compliance with data governance. The engineer will provide technical support to engineering users, resolving application issues, tracking SLA compliance, and escalating to vendors as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience
• 3+ years of Product development experience
• 3+ years of experience in CAD/Creo suite of products.
• Strong Mechanical Engineering aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Experience in Top-Down Design, Cabling, managing family tables, Advanced surfacing
• Experience with Windchill PDM/ PLM System customizations and configurations, system support, user access and container management, custom interface development
• Experience with Creo configurations, template libraries, start parts, drawings.

Preferred Qualifications:

•    Expertise on Windchill EPM/Doc/Part/BOM management, version control, change management and filevault configurations

•    Master’s degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline

•    7+ years of work experience in CAD/PDM systems

•    Experience with GD&T and Tolerance Stack-up (1D and 3D)

•    Experience with Structural and Thermal analysis
