Meru Activs is a D2C brand specialising in nutritional supplements for India’s 50+. We currently sell on our own website and Amazon India, and are rapidly expanding to new marketplaces.
About the Role
You will own the operational backbone of Meru Activs. From coordinating with our ingredient supplier and manufacturer to ensuring every order is fulfilled and reconciled accurately, this is a hands-on individual contributor role with high ownership. You are the single point of accountability for supply chain and fulfillment operations, working directly with and reporting to the founder.
What You Will Do
Vendor & Supply Coordination
- Coordinate with our ingredient suppliers, packaging vendors, and manufacturer for purchase orders, raw material dispatch, packing material, and finished goods timelines
- Follow up proactively with all vendors on schedules and dispatches; flag delays before they become stockouts
- Collect and maintain all relevant documentation: invoices, batch records, gate passes
Warehouse & Fulfillment
- Be the day-to-day interface with our fulfillment partner for inbound verification, stock management, and outbound fulfillment
- Verify physical inbounds against system records; flag and resolve discrepancies
- Validate fulfillment partner billing against actual inbound and outbound activity
- Monitor order fulfillment SLAs across Shopify and Amazon; manage NDRs and RTOs proactively
Data & Reconciliation
- Own and maintain the inventory ledger across all stock locations
- Build and manage reconciliation trackers for inbound, outbound, and returns
- Generate weekly and monthly ops reports for the founder
- Identify and escalate variances before they compound
What We’re Looking For
- 1 to 2 years of experience in D2C brand-side operations or fulfillment
- Hands-on experience with a WMS, OMS, or order management tools (Uniware experience is a bonus)
- Comfortable with Excel or Google Sheets: pivot tables, vlookups, reconciliation logic
- Strong written and verbal communication; able to follow up assertively with vendors
- Detail-oriented: you notice discrepancies and don’t let them slide
- Based in Mumbai; willing to travel occasionally to warehouse and vendor locations
- Experience in nutraceuticals or pharma is a strong plus
