Data Analytics Specialist Full Time NEW

Lutron is seeking a Data Analytics Specialist based in Gurgaon to support Product Lifecycle Management (PLCM) and procurement decision‑making through high‑quality data, insights, and visualization. This role partners closely with business and functional teams to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights that improve performance, enable better decisions, and support long‑term business objectives.

The ideal candidate combines strong analytical and technical skills with the ability to understand business needs and communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Responsibilities

Data Analysis & Business Insight

• Gather, structure, and analyze data from internal and external sources to identify trends, risks, and opportunities across procurement and product lifecycle processes
• Translate complex datasets into meaningful insights that support KPI‑driven performance management and informed decision‑making
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability through disciplined data management practices

Business Intelligence & Visualization

• Design and maintain clear, intuitive dashboards and reports using Power BI for operational and leadership audiences
• Define, track, and evolve key performance indicators to ensure ongoing relevance and business value
• Enable self‑service analytics by making data accessible and easy to understand for non‑technical users

Data Modeling & Automation

• Develop scalable data models that reduce manual reporting and improve efficiency
• Create and maintain DAX measures and Power Query transformations in line with internal standards
• Optimize performance, usability, and scalability of analytics solutions

Business Partnership & Communication

• Partner with stakeholders to understand business questions and translate them into effective analytics solutions
• Communicate insights, recommendations, and business impact clearly to management and senior leaders
• Support cross‑functional collaboration by aligning analytics outputs with business objectives

Governance, Security & Continuous Improvement

• Apply appropriate controls to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with data governance standards
• Promote consistent data definitions, standards, and best practices
• Contribute to continuous improvement of analytics processes and overall data maturity

Capability Building

• Stay current with emerging analytics tools and best practices
• Share knowledge and, where appropriate, support the development of analytics capability within the team

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Supply Chain, or a related field with a minimum, aggregate of 60% marks
• Advanced degree in Data Analytics or Big Data is a plus
• Demonstrated experience with Excel, Power BI, DAX, and Power Query (M)
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases
• Familiarity with Python and/or R
• Knowledge of data modeling best practices (e.g., The Definitive Guide to DAX preferred)
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) is a plus
• Ability to convert complex data into clear, actionable business insights
• Clear communicator who can influence and engage diverse stakeholders
• Learning‑oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
