Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and hardworking Data Center Support Engineer to support day-to-day data center operations including rack & stack, structured cabling, device staging, power-on activities, and basic hardware troubleshooting.

The ideal candidate should have basic knowledge of data center infrastructure, networking hardware, and cabling standards, along with a willingness to work in a fast-paced operational environment.

Key Responsibilities Data Center Operations

• Perform device installation, rack & stack activities in data center environments
• Handle structured cabling for network and server devices
• Perform patching activities for copper and fiber cables
• Label and organize cables, racks, and devices as per standards
• Support device staging, inventory verification, and hardware movement

Power-On & Hardware Support

• Perform power-on activities for servers, switches, routers, and storage devices
• Conduct basic hardware health checks and connectivity verification
• Assist in troubleshooting hardware and cabling-related issues
• Coordinate with network/server teams during implementation activities

Monitoring & Maintenance

• Monitor physical connectivity and cable management standards
• Ensure cleanliness and proper organization of racks and DC floors
• Maintain asset inventory and update implementation records
• Follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines

Required Skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Diploma / B.Sc / BCA / ITI / Any Graduate
• 0–2 years of experience in Data Center or IT Infrastructure support
• Freshers with relevant internship/project experience may also apply

Soft Skills

• Quick learner with positive attitude
• Strong teamwork and coordination abilities
• Ability to work under pressure and meet timelines
• Good documentation and reporting skills
