Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Database Developer role based in Delhi, India. The Database Developer will design, develop, and maintain relational database structures to support AI-driven applications and large-scale analytics platforms. Responsibilities include writing and optimizing complex SQL queries, procedures, and functions, as well as implementing and monitoring ETL processes to move and transform data across systems. The role involves collaborating with product, data science, and engineering teams to understand data requirements, ensure data integrity, and support performance tuning and scalability. The Database Developer will also assist with troubleshooting database issues, supporting database administration tasks, and contributing to documentation and best practices for secure and reliable data management.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Database Development and Database Design, including schema modeling, normalization, indexing, and query optimization.
• Hands-on experience with Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes and tools, with the ability to build efficient, scalable, and reliable data pipelines.
• Understanding of Database Administration concepts such as backups, recovery, user management, monitoring, and basic performance tuning.
• Well-developed Analytical Skills to interpret data requirements, diagnose performance bottlenecks, and propose data-driven solutions.
• Proficiency with SQL and at least one major relational database platform (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle); exposure to cloud databases is a plus.
• Familiarity with AI/ML or analytics-driven environments and experience supporting data needs for reporting, dashboards, or data science teams is advantageous.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, communicate clearly, and maintain high standards of data security and compliance.
