Deputy Manager – Lead Transportation Full Time

• Lead and oversee transportation operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective movement of goods across the exim yard and associated logistics networks.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize transportation efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
• Manage exim yard operations, ensuring compliance with operational standards and alignment with business objectives.
• Coordinate with warehouse operations to ensure seamless integration and synchronization of transportation and storage activities.
• Monitor and analyze transportation performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment of transportation activities with customer requirements and business goals.
• Drive the adoption of technology and digital tools to enhance transportation planning, tracking, and reporting.
• Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards in all transportation activities.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the transportation team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Support strategic initiatives and projects within the Logistics business unit, contributing to the overall growth and success of APSEZ.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of 15 years of experience in transportation management, with a focus on exim yard and warehouse operations.
• Proven track record of leading transportation teams and delivering measurable results in a logistics environment.
• In-depth knowledge of transportation planning, execution, and optimization strategies.

Educational Background

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
