Key responsibilities (please specify if the position is an individual one or part of a team):
- Automated deployment of development, testing, production and DR environments via deployment pipeline
- Infrastructure as Code created using Terraform in application code repository
- Creation of automated unit tests for any code changes required in support of achieving the desired transformation goals
- Migrate source code to customer strategic source code management tool
- Build CICD pipelines
- Build application deployment automation pipelines
- Work toward cloud first initiative. Use Azure as a preferred cloud solution.
- Participate in the architecture board to discuss strategy about services and their integration with existing technologies within the organization.
- Work with developers and application teams to promote Devops
- Propose and design hybrid / multi cloud solution in case the requirements can’t be fulfilled on Azure platform.
- Accountability for the quality of work produced by the Cloud Engineers
- Must have advanced certifications like DevOps, admin or Architect.

Key Skills/Knowledge:
- DevOps specialist to define approach towards DevOps assessment and upskilling/cultural uplift
- Serves as integration point between other DevOps initiatives
- Participate in planning activities, as required to ensure that change and approval processes are incorporated into scheduling
- Experience supporting major programs and other project-based activities
- Hands of experience Microsoft Azure
- Experience of using/delivering the below technologies
- Jenkins, Cloud Awareness (Azure, AWS, General understanding of how networking and service consumption works in cloud)
- Docker
- Source Code Management (Github Enterprise)
- Branch Protection/Codeowners
- Application Deployment (Modern methods, automated, github driven, zero/light touch)
- Artifact Repository Management
- Code Quality Development experience
- Secrets management (Cyberark, Vault)
- Agile working experience (Jira, Kanban, Scrum etc)
- Systems Integration experience
- Automation experience
