DIGITAL GROWTH ARCHITECT Full Time

Purpose of the Role

The Digital Growth Architect is responsible for designing, building and continually optimising the client/agency’s full digital ecosystem – ensuring that content, platforms, channels and data work together as one connected system.

This role exists to architect and scale digital influence ecosystem across B2B and B2C audiences – transforming scientific leadership, content, education and digital experiences into sustained authority, audience trust and commercial growth.

This is a high-impact, mid-level role with senior exposure, reporting directly to the Business Director or nominated leader. It is designed for a strong digital operator who can both execute daily and think architecturally, with the ambition and capability to grow into a senior digital leadership role over time.

You will act as the agency’s internal digital authority, advising from the backend, partnering closely with content and strategy, and ensuring every digital touchpoint contributes meaningfully to audience experience and business outcomes.

• Understands the full digital ecosystem: website, social channels, email, CRM, search, paid pathways, SEO, analytics infrastructure and amplification funnels.
• Thinks in audience journeys, not isolated tactics.
• Ensures every channel has a clear role, connects logically to the next, and reinforces the overall marketing strategy.
• Translates audience behaviour, search patterns, platform dynamics and performance data into practical recommendations and actions.
• Is hands-on, execution-ready and comfortable being inside platforms, tools and dashboards every week.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end digital architecture across B2B and B2C audiences designing clear audience journeys from awareness to conversion.
• Define the role of each digital channel within the ecosystem, ensuring no silos and strong cross-channel flow.
• Build and scale digital thought leadership ecosystems across HCP, practitioner, brandholder and consumer audiences
• Personally execute and optimise day-to-day digital activity, including publishing, testing and continuous improvement.
• Manage and optimise the website and core digital assets (CMS, UX, SEO, landing pages, tagging and tracking).
• Build and maintain content distribution and amplification frameworks across owned, earned and paid channels.
• Partner closely with the Content team to ensure content is purpose-built, correctly implemented and effective in each channel.
• Architect and manage paid social and search activity strategically, maximising limited budgets through targeting, retargeting and testing.
• Ensure the digital ecosystem is fully measurable, producing clear dashboards, insights and actionable recommendations.
• Act as the agency’s internal digital expert, advising the CEO and teams on digital feasibility, optimisation and best practice.
• Architect long-form content, SEO, expert-led education and omnichannel distribution systems that increase authority and discoverability
• Translate complex scientific and technical subject matter into compelling digital narratives and audience journeys
• Strong understanding of AI-enabled content systems, search evolution, workflow automation and digital efficiency tools
• Ability to leverage AI to accelerate insight generation, content adaptation, SEO optimisation, personalisation and ecosystem scalability

Skills & Experience

• 8-10 years’ experience across digital marketing, growth, performance, digital production or ecosystem-led roles.
• Strong, integrated understanding of how content, SEO, UX, analytics, social and paid channels work together as a system.
• Hands-on experience with CMS platforms, analytics, tagging, SEO and paid tools (HubSpot or similar CRM experience a bonus).
• Proven ability to translate data into clear insights and decisive actions, not just reports.
• Comfortable learning, adapting and implementing new tools, platforms and technologies as the ecosystem evolves.
• Curious, structured thinker with strong execution discipline, sound judgement and growth ambition.
• Demonstrated growth mindset with a solutions-focused approach to problem-solving.
• Able to work cross-functionally with high-performing, hybrid teams across strategy, content, creative and account functions.
• Thrives in a fast-paced agency environment with shifting priorities and multiple workstreams.
