Key Responsibilities
Delivery Ownership: Own execution, quality, and predictability of all IDC-delivered work across Oracle ERP, Fusion SaaS, MSD CRM, Web Applications, QA, Unified BI & Analytics, AI, Security, and Infrastructure — on time, on scope, with measurable business impact
Digital Experience & Platform Enablement: Own delivery of digital experience capabilities including Web Apps, Data & Reporting Enablement, Enterprise Data Platforms, AI Platforms & Tools CoE, and AI-Enabled Apps & Automation — ensuring IDC is a platform delivery engine, not a staff augmentation center
Site Leadership & People Management: Lead and develop a team of 25–30+ direct reports, owning performance management, career development, engagement, retention, and site culture
Talent Acquisition & Team Building: Build and scale the IDC team — own hiring strategy, capability planning, and talent pipeline development to close critical skill gaps across delivery tracks and position IDC as a destination for top engineering and delivery talent in Bangalore
Budget & P&L Ownership: Own the IDC site budget including headcount, vendor spend, infrastructure costs, and delivery economics. Drive cost discipline, track unit cost of delivery, and ensure financial transparency and accountability for all IDC operations
Cross-Regional Coordination: Serve as the execution hub across IDC, China, and EMEA enable follow-the-sun delivery, reduce handoffs, and enforce consistent engineering and delivery standards across regions
Infrastructure & Site Operations: Own IDC site health and Liaison with CISO to drive infrastructure stability, patching, access management, security controls, and operational readiness in close partnership with Fortive shared services (FISS)
Vendor & Partner Management: Own delivery accountability for strategic vendor and partner relationships to enforce SLAs, quality thresholds, cost discipline, and drive corrective actions where expectations are not met
Capacity & Portfolio Management: Manage run vs. grow capacity across IDC teams, align workforce plans to enterprise portfolio priorities, and ensure IDC delivery capacity is visible, planned, and optimized
Operational Rigor & Standard Work: Establish and enforce standard work for delivery planning, execution, escalation, and reporting to drive consistent cadence reviews, delivery metrics, and executive visibility
Continuous Improvement: Champion ongoing improvements in delivery productivity, quality, and cost efficiency to identify systemic issues, drive root cause resolution, and enable scalable operating practices
KPI Achievement: Define and drive key performance indicators including on-time delivery (≥90%), run/grow ratio (target 60/40), defect escape rate, infrastructure availability (≥95%), cost per unit of delivery, and team engagement
What Success Looks Like In Year 1
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 15+ years in technology delivery leadership, with at least 5 years leading multi-function global delivery centers. Experience managing large, diverse teams (25+ direct reports) across ERP, CRM, Web, BI, AI, Infrastructure, and Security.
Skills: Strong understanding of enterprise delivery models, vendor management, capacity planning, portfolio governance, and cross-regional operations.
Leadership: Proven ability to build high-performing teams, drive accountability, and operate at both strategic and execution levels.
Communication: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage senior leadership, cross-functional partners, and individual contributors equally.
Certifications: Experience with FBS, Lean, Agile, SAFe, or similar continuous improvement frameworks is a plus.
Other Information
This position will report directly to the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and is based at Fluke’s India Development Center in Bangalore. The Director will work closely with US-based vertical and horizontal leaders, the CISO, EA/PMO/LPM, Fortive shared services, and China and EMEA site leads. Occasional travel required to Fluke headquarters (Everett, WA), EMEA, and China locations.
