Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Dispatch Executive located in the Mohali district. The Dispatch Executive will be responsible for coordinating and managing the scheduling and timely delivery of goods, ensuring efficient transport operations. Key duties include tracking shipments, maintaining communication with drivers and clients, resolving logistical challenges, and updating stakeholders. The role will also involve preparing delivery schedules, generating related reports, and collaborating with the operations team to enhance overall supply chain efficiency.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and coordination skills for managing dispatch activities and logistics.
- Proficiency in communication and interpersonal skills to interact successfully with clients, drivers, and team members.
- Knowledge of shipping, distribution, and transportation processes, along with problem-solving abilities for resolving logistic challenges.
- Experience in using transportation management systems or dispatch software is preferred.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities efficiently.
- Proficient in basic computer applications like MS Office and data entry tools.
- Previous experience in dispatch operations or logistics is an advantage.
- Flexibility to work on-site and a strong sense of time management and punctuality.
