Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an Ecommerce Operations Manager based in Varanasi. The Ecommerce Operations Manager will oversee day-to-day online marketplace and D2C store operations, including product listing, pricing, inventory management, order processing, and returns coordination. The role will monitor sales performance, analyze operational metrics, and collaborate with marketing, warehousing, and customer support teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and a positive customer experience. The person in this position will work closely with vendors, logistics partners, and internal stakeholders to optimize processes, reduce operational errors, and maintain service-level agreements. The role also involves implementing standard operating procedures, ensuring platform compliance, and supporting new product launches and campaign execution.
Qualifications

• Strong ecommerce operations skills, including product listing management, order processing, inventory control, and returns handling.
• Experience with marketplace platforms and ecommerce tools (e.g., Amazon, Flipkart, Shopify or similar), including dashboard usage and basic catalog management.
• Data-driven mindset with the ability to track KPIs, analyze sales and operations reports, and recommend process improvements.
• Solid coordination and stakeholder management skills to work with warehouse teams, customer support, marketing, and external logistics partners.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
• Comfort with basic Excel or spreadsheet functions for reporting, reconciliation, and operational tracking.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, Commerce, or a related field; relevant certifications in ecommerce or supply chain are an advantage.
• Prior experience in ecommerce, retail operations, or consumer products is preferred, especially in a fast-scaling environment.
• Ability to work on-site in Varanasi, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to evolving business needs.
