Role overview

We’re looking for an Editorial Marketing Intern to join exd.news’ content and marketing team in Gurugram. This hands-on, full-time role is ideal for someone who loves storytelling, has a keen eye for design, and wants practical experience in editorial planning, content creation, and digital marketing for the design and luxury sectors. You will support content production across digital and print, assist with campaign execution, and learn how editorial strategy supports brand-building for premium clients.

Key responsibilities

• Create and edit content: draft social media posts, short-form features, blog articles, newsletters, and basic PR/descriptive copy aligned with brand voice and editorial guidelines.
• Research and ideation: map industry trends, competitor activity, and audience interests to inform editorial calendars and campaign concepts.
• Content coordination: collaborate daily with designers, account managers, and PR colleagues to prepare, proofread, format, and publish assets.
• Asset management: organize editorial materials, image libraries, and project files to ensure easy access and version control.
• Performance tracking: monitor content KPIs (engagement, reach, open rates) and prepare concise performance summaries and learning points.
• Support campaigns: assist with speaker placement, award nominations, media lists, and basic PR outreach when needed.
• Maintain quality and consistency: uphold style, accuracy, and brand tone across channels.

Who we’re looking for

• Strong communicator with clear verbal skills, active listening, and collaborative mindset.
• Proficient writer and editor: able to draft, proofread, and refine content for different formats and audiences.
• Curious researcher: comfortable gathering, synthesizing, and presenting insights on design trends and market activity.
• Organised and deadline-driven: capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced studio environment.
• Interest in architecture, interior design, luxury lifestyle, or related creative fields is highly desirable.
• Basic familiarity with CMS, social platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Meta tools), and design tools (Canva, Figma, or Adobe) is a plus.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Design, or equivalent practical experience.
• Must be available to work on-site in Gurugram.
