Role description
- Engineer – IT and Infrastructure Operations, with Construction domain having 0 – 2 years of experience, is expected to provide first-level support for IT and infrastructure operations, focusing on helpdesk tasks and resolving user issues related to laptops and desktops.
- Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in Linux operating systems, essential for navigating and managing system environments, particularly relevant for troubleshooting and support roles.
- Proficiency in helpdesk support is necessary, encompassing the ability to assist users with inquiries and issues related to hardware and software, ensuring seamless operation of workplace technology.
- A solid understanding of troubleshooting laptop and desktop issues is required, as candidates will frequently address and resolve common user problems, enhancing productivity and user satisfaction.
- Debugging and troubleshooting skills are vital for diagnosing and rectifying software and hardware malfunctions.
- Education required for this role includes a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Information Technology or Computer Science Engineering, or alternatively, a Diploma in Computer Engineering or IT.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+ and CompTIA Network+ are preferred, as they validate the candidates’ knowledge and competencies in computer hardware and networking fundamentals.
- Good to have experience in network management, ensuring effective monitoring and administration of network systems, along with proficiency with Active Directory for user management and authentication processes.
- Knowledge of wireless network configuration and troubleshooting is beneficial, as well as familiarity with security best practices related to network management.
- Understanding of network protocols and standards is also preferred to support basic network-related issues.
