Job Purpose

• Undertaking Overall responsibility of the accounts section in terms of compliance to statutes, reviewing the jobs of the Officer-Level I, guiding them when necessary, ensuring maintenance of proper documentation required for ISO purposes, liasoning with government departments etc.

Primary Responsibilities

• Daily Activities
• Ensuring periodic updation of supplier masters.
• Passing of freight bills in the system.
• Giving clearance of freight bills.
• Preparing Cheque for freight bills after ensuring that all advances are adjusted.
• Controlling the advances and ensuring their adjustment against subsequent bills.
• Monthly Activities
• Coordinating with personnel Department and disbursing Staff salaries.
• Preparing Bank Reconciliation Statements on time.
• Ensuring the submission of Monthly reports to various functions.
• Preparing NSSO returns.
• Preparing of PF, ESIC returns etc.
• Doing Reconciliation of Loans of Operators.
• Filing of temporary pay packets.
• Doing reconciliation of unpaid salaries and bonus.
• Ensuring the accuracy of deductions.
• Highlighting the inaccuracies in bills, orders etc.
