Responsibilities
- To supervise, direct and coordinate the housekeeping activity to ensure a clean and safe environment for the children at school. To ensure that the school’s site is aesthetically pleasing.
- Handle a team of 100+ housekeeping and support staff and their deployment across the school campus during regular school days and during holidays/vacation.
- Closely work with transport department for the deployment of female support staff in school buses.
- To ensure that the school’s furniture, fixtures and equipments are in good condition at all times.
- To maintain and keep updating the Attendance register, daily deployment sheet, inspection log sheets, asset registers and inventories, at all times.
- To assist in the progress of work relating to expansion of school building and additional facilities being developed through interaction with the Estate officer and ensure timely execution, quality and safety in work.
- HR-Admin matters:
- Ensure that statutory books and records are maintained in compliance of the various Acts and Regulations prescribed as per PF, ESI in coordination with Housekeeping Agency.
- Ensure that the records pertaining to Leave and Attendance for all support staff are maintained and handed over in time for monthly payroll preparation.
- Assist with any task relating to Administration HR as and when required by the Principal/Admin Head.
- To ensure that inventory of all school equipment and furniture is maintained and updated at all times.
- To co-ordinate and oversee arrangements required for events and functions at the school.
- To carry out any other tasks assigned by the Admin Head /Principal, from time to time.
