Role Description

The Factory Accountant will be responsible for overseeing financial operations related to the production facility, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and maintaining accurate records. Responsibilities include managing budgeting, cost control, inventory accounting, payroll processing, and preparing financial reports. Coordination with procurement teams, monitoring cash flows, and providing insights for cost optimization are integral to the role. This is a full-time on-site position located in Bhubaneswar.

Qualifications

• Expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and cost analysis
• Proficiency in inventory management and factory accounting
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Familiarity with accounting software and MS Excel
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills
• Knowledge of financial compliance, regulations, and tax practices
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certifications like CA/CPA are a plus
• Experience in the food, FMCG, or related industry is preferred
