Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Field Executive – Pick-Up Operations based in Alandur. The Field Executive is responsible for coordinating and executing daily shipment pick-ups from clients, ensuring timely collection and accurate documentation for all consignments. The role includes verifying shipment details, packaging, and labeling, updating pick-up status in the system or mobile app, and resolving basic issues at the pick-up location. The person in this role will liaise with customers, drivers, and hub operations teams to maintain smooth first-mile operations, adhere to safety and compliance guidelines, and meet service-level timelines. The Field Executive will also support route planning, report exceptions or delays, and contribute to continuous improvement of on-ground processes.

Qualifications

• Operational skills in field logistics, including shipment handling, basic documentation, and using mobile or handheld devices for pick-up updates.
• Customer service and communication skills to interact professionally with clients, resolve on-site issues, and maintain strong service relationships.
• Time management and planning skills to manage multiple pick-ups, optimize routes in coordination with the team, and meet strict timelines.
• Problem-solving and attention-to-detail skills to identify discrepancies in packages or paperwork, escalate exceptions, and ensure accuracy in records.
• Ability to work on-site in field conditions, including familiarity with local geography in and around Alandur and willingness to travel within assigned areas.
• Basic computer and smartphone literacy to use logistics apps, update tracking information, and communicate with operations teams.
• Previous experience in logistics, courier, e-commerce delivery, or field operations is preferred but not mandatory.
• Minimum educational qualification: high school diploma or equivalent; higher education in logistics, supply chain, or related fields is an advantage.
