Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Malappuram for a Finance Assistant Manager at Sky Ocean Shipping LLC. The Finance Assistant Manager will oversee daily financial operations, assist in budget management, prepare financial reports, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations. The role includes tasks such as coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, analyzing financial data, managing accounts payable and receivable, and supporting financial audits. The individual will also contribute to financial planning and forecasting while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Accounting Principles, Financial Reporting, and Budget Management
• Proficiency in Financial Analysis, Tax Compliance, and Financial Planning
• Experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll Management
• Ability to use Accounting Software and Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Excellent problem-solving, organization, and time-management skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure data accuracy
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with global teams
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or ACCA is highly desirable
• Prior experience in the shipping or logistics industry will be considered an advantage
