Our client, a leading India-focused investment platform is looking to engage with an experienced advisor to guide capital expenditure (Capex) planning and procurement for a running hospital. The role involves strategic guidance on medical equipment, infrastructure sourcing, vendor benchmarking, and cost optimization.
Key Responsibilities-
- Provide strategic advisory on Capex planning and allocation for hospital expansion and upgrades
- Validate and benchmark pricing of medical equipment and infrastructure procurement
- Recommend best practices in healthcare procurement and sourcing
- Support in vendor identification, evaluation, and negotiation strategies
- Ensure cost efficiency, quality standards, and compliance in procurement decisions
- Review and optimize supply chain and sourcing processes
- Advise on technology selection, lifecycle costing, and ROI optimization
- Conduct periodic audits of procurement decisions and spending
- Collaborate with internal teams (procurement, finance, operations) for aligned execution
- Provide insights on market trends, innovations, and regulatory considerations

Skills required-
- Strong experience in hospital procurement / supply chain / sourcing
- Deep understanding of medical equipment procurement and hospital infrastructure setup
- Proven track record in handling large-scale Capex projects

- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, quality standards, and compliance
- Strong analytical and financial acumen (ROI, cost optimization, lifecycle analysis)
- Experience working with leading hospitals or healthcare consulting firms
- Excellent stakeholder management and advisory skills
- Ability to work in a flexible, need-based consulting setup
