Role: Fresher Java Developer
Location: Remote
Role Overview:
We are hiring a Fresher Java Developer to begin your engineering career
on Joveo’s Java-powered backend systems. You will learn production
Java development by shipping real services, working with Spring Boot,
and contributing to a codebase that handles millions of daily transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
– Write Java code for backend microservices and APIs under senior guidance
– Learn Spring Boot and modern Java engineering practices in a production setting
– Fix bugs, add unit tests, and participate in feature development work
– Contribute to code reviews and learn by reviewing others’ code
– Build your understanding of databases, APIs, and distributed systems basics
– Grow through structured mentorship, 1:1s, and real project ownership
Required Skills & Qualifications:
– Recent graduate or up to 1 year of Java development experience
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent field
– Solid grasp of Java fundamentals — OOP, collections, exception handling
– Familiarity with Spring, Spring Boot, or equivalent Java frameworks
– Basic understanding of SQL and relational databases
– Strong foundation in data structures and algorithms
