Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Contract Full-Stack Web Developer located in Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana, INDIA. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining both front-end and back-end components of web applications. Daily tasks involve writing clean, scalable code, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and troubleshooting to ensure seamless functionality. Additionally, the role includes implementing responsive design principles and continuously improving user experience on all platforms.

 Scope of work

 – Deliver full-stack features end-to-end: REST API endpoints (Node.js + PostgreSQL) and the React/TypeScript UI that consumes them.

 – Design clean API contracts and put logic at the right layer — no client-side workarounds for what belongs in the backend.

 – Work within a multi-tenant architecture: per-school data isolation and role-based access (student, teacher, school-admin, super-admin).

 – Write and maintain SQL migrations; keep tenant schemas in sync.

 – Contribute to real-time classroom features (WebRTC) as needed.

 – Write tests (Vitest + React Testing Library) and ship through PRs with code review.

 Must-have skills

 – Strong TypeScript / JavaScript.

 – React (hooks, context) + React Router.

 – Node.js REST API development.

 – PostgreSQL — schema design, queries/joins, migrations.

 – Authentication/authorization and role-based access control.

 – Git workflow (feature branches, PRs, code review).

 – Proven ability to work independently and ramp on an existing codebase fast.

 Nice to have

 – MUI + Tailwind CSS; accessible, responsive UI.

 – Vite, Vitest / React Testing Library.

 – Multi-tenant / SaaS, WebRTC, CI/CD (GitHub Actions).

 – EdTech or domain-heavy B2B product experience.
