General Summary
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform end-to-end fixed asset accounting including capitalization, depreciation, transfers, retirements, and impairments in SAP.
Ensure monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities related to fixed assets are completed accurately and on time.
Prepare and review fixed asset reconciliations and flux analysis.
Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and SOX/internal control requirements.
Support audits by providing necessary schedules and documentation – Partner with AP, GL, and business teams on asset-related transactions and process improvements.
Drive automation, standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives within fixed asset processes
Additional Requirements
Accounting experience in a multi-GAAP environment and shared service center
Exposure in working in SAP
Excellent written and verbal fluency in English
Ability to learn/understand standards & processes quickly and adhere to them accurately.
Has good fundamental organization & prioritization skills
Flexible approach with a strong team spirit
Effective interpersonal & communication skills and highly professional style
Comfortable delivering against quantitative and qualitative performance metrics.
Proficient IT skills including Excel and Outlook
Experience of working in large Multi-National Company will be an added advantage for the candidate.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 2+ years of Finance, Accounting, or related work experience.
- Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.
