Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a General Manager of PTL Transportation Sales, based in Mumbai with some flexibility for remote work. In this role, you will oversee and grow the partial truckload (PTL) transportation sales segment, develop strategic plans, and execute sales initiatives to achieve revenue targets. Responsibilities include managing a team of sales professionals, cultivating relationships with new and existing customers, analyzing market trends, optimizing business operations, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional service. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and maintain Flyment’s position as an industry leader.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in sales management, business development, or leading sales teams in the transportation or logistics sector
• Strong knowledge of PTL and freight forwarding operations and market trends
• Excellent leadership, team-building, and interpersonal communication skills
• Proficiency in strategic planning, relationship management, and sales forecasting
• Analytical abilities and decision-making skills to evaluate market data and financial metrics
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus
• Proficiency in CRM and sales software tools
• Experience working within diverse and dynamic teams
• Willingness to travel as required for business development and client engagement
