GM – Manufacturing (Plant Head) Full Time

Role Description- The GM Manufacturing will oversee multiple manufacturing plants, ensuring that production targets align with the company’s budget and strategic goals. This role demands a strong focus on optimizing manpower and resources, maintaining high operating efficiency, and delivering products that meet quality standards. The GM Manufacturing will also be responsible for supply chain management, customer satisfaction, employee development, and adherence to company policies.

Key Responsibilities-

:Production Planning & Budget Management:

·        Achieve production plans as per the company budget.

·        Ensure gross margins are met and exceeded.

·        Optimize the utilization of manpower and resources to maximize productivity.

Operational Efficiency:

·        Enhance operating efficiency through continuous process improvements.

·        Improve material efficiency and yield (reduce wastage percentage of finished goods in raw materials).

·        Oversee supply chain management, including inventory control, slow/non-moving items, and dispatch logistics.

Quality Control & Customer Satisfaction:

·        Ensure production confirmed reports are defect-free.

·        Maintain high standards of quality with zero defect products.

·        Address customer complaints promptly and maintain a high customer satisfaction ratio.

Manpower Management:

·        Retain key manpower and reduce absenteeism.

·        Conduct skill analysis and implement programs to improve employee skill levels.

·        Ensure all employees understand their roles and responsibilities.

Data Security & Process Standardization:

·        Safeguard company data and ensure data security protocols are followed.

·        Lead automation and digitization initiatives to streamline operations.

·        Standardize processes and workflows across all plants.

Cost Management:

·        Drive inventory turnover and reduce purchase costs.

·        Implement productivity improvement measures to enhance operational performance.

Employee Development & Engagement:

·        Ensure company policies are clear and communicated to all employees.

·        Develop and monitor KRA & KPI for all employees.

·        Responsible for CSR activities and encourage community involvement.

Periodic Reviews & Reporting:

·        Conduct regular reviews of operational performance.

·        Report on key operational metrics to senior management

Qualifications and Experience-

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Operations Management, or a related field, MBA (Preferred)
• Experience: 20+ years of experience, with relevant background into Composites Industry and Pultrusion Process
