Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced General Manager – Operations to oversee and optimize end-to-end logistics and transportation operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, cost control, and service excellence while leading high-performing teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations across transportation and logistics functions
- Manage fleet operations, route planning, and vendor coordination
- Monitor KPIs and implement strategies to improve performance and efficiency
- Ensure timely delivery, service quality, and customer satisfaction
- Lead, mentor, and manage operations teams across locations
- Drive cost optimization and process improvements
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
- Coordinate with sales and other departments for seamless execution
Key Requirements:
- 8–10 years of experience in logistics/transportation operations
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Experience in handling large-scale operations and fleet management
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred:
- Experience in FTL (Full Truck Load) operations
- Exposure to multi-location operations
