Haryanvi Native Speaker – Speech Data Contributor (Freelance/Part-Time) Full Time

About the Role

Shaip is collecting high-quality speech data to train and improve AI and speech recognition systems. We are looking for native Haryanvi speakers to participate in a structured audio recording project. Your voice will help build more accurate, inclusive, and representative AI for Hindi-Haryanvi speakers.

Responsibilities

• Record read speech by reading sentences aloud on topics such as local news, culture, politics, tourism, and daily life
• Participate in short conversational recordings (2-speaker dialogues) over mobile/VoIP
• Ensure recordings are made in a quiet, indoor environment with minimal background noise
• Follow provided recording guidelines and file specifications

Requirements

• Native speaker of Hindi – Haryanvi dialect
• From interior Haryana or the Haryana-Punjab border area
• Age: 18–55 years
• Access to a smartphone or microphone for recording
• Quiet indoor recording environment (home-office equivalent)
• No prior experience required — training/guidelines will be provided
