HCC Medical Coder Full Time

We are looking for a detail-oriented HCC Medical Coder to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for reviewing medical records, assigning accurate diagnosis codes, and ensuring proper risk adjustment coding compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Review patient medical records and documentation
• Assign accurate ICD-10-CM and HCC codes
• Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and regulations
• Identify documentation gaps and coding opportunities
• Maintain coding accuracy and productivity standards
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and auditors

Requirements:

• Knowledge of HCC coding and Risk Adjustment
• Experience with ICD-10-CM coding
• Understanding of medical terminology and anatomy
• Good analytical and communication skills
• Certification is a plus (CPC / CRC / CCS)

Preferred Skills:

• Attention to detail
• Experience in medical coding software
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
