Head of Information Technology Full Time

Job Summary:

We are looking for a strategic and technically proficient Head of IT to lead and manage the hotel’s IT infrastructure, systems, security, and digital transformation initiatives. The role involves overseeing the IT operations across departments, ensuring system availability, data protection, and aligning technology solutions with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, implement, and manage all IT systems and infrastructure including PMS (Property Management System), POS, Wi-Fi, CCTV, servers, networks, Restaurant application software, Swiggy, Zomato and WhatsApp ordering connectivity related systems and IT Asset Management & Inventory.
• Ensure data security, backup protocols, and disaster recovery measures are in place.
• Manage IT hardware, software, IT procurement, upgrades, and vendor relationships.
• Supervise the daily IT operations and provide technical support for all hotel departments.
• Develop IT policies, SOPs, and best practices in line with industry standards.
• Ensure compliance with data protection laws and cybersecurity policies.
• Coordinate with hotel management and third-party vendors for tech-based solutions and hotel automation.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions for enhancing guest experience and operational efficiency.
• Coordinate with Service providers for Broad Band , ILL links and SIM Procurements etc for Outlets usage.
• Having experience in setting up Video Conferencing across all Outlets using Zoom, Google Meet, Teams etc.
• To ensure all the required business reports are arranged to all the stakeholders for their analysis.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in IT management, preferably in the hospitality/hotel sector.
• Strong knowledge of PMS (e.g., IDS, Opera), POS, ERP, and networking systems.
• Experience with firewall, antivirus, server administration, and cloud technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving, project management, and team leadership skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
