Job Description (JD) – Hospital Reception Head

Position: Reception Head
Department: Front Office / Reception
Institution: Dr. N. Y. Tasgaonkar Institute of Medical Science & Raigad Hospital & Research Centre, Karjat, Raigad

Qualification

• Graduate in any discipline (Hospital Administration preferred).
• Minimum 5–10 years of experience in hospital front office/reception, including team handling experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage daily operations of the hospital reception and front office.
• Ensure smooth patient registration, admission, discharge, and appointment processes.
• Lead, train, and monitor reception executives and front office staff.
• Handle patient queries, complaints, and feedback professionally.
• Coordinate with clinical, billing, insurance, and administrative departments.
• Ensure accurate patient records and documentation.
• Monitor reception schedules, staff attendance, and shift management.
• Maintain high standards of patient service and hospitality.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reception reports.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, NABH standards, and quality protocols.

Required Skills

• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledge of hospital information systems (HIS) and patient registration processes.
• Problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and reporting.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 – ₹30,000.00 per month
