Selected Intern’s Day-to-day Responsibilities Include
- Talent acquisition & recruitment:
- Sourcing: Posting job openings on LinkedIn, Indeed, and university job boards.
- Screening: Reviewing resumes and conducting initial phone screenings to identify top candidates.
- Scheduling: Coordinating interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Onboarding: Preparing welcome kits and assisting with ‘day 1’ orientations for new hires.
- Administrative & data management:
- HRIS maintenance: Updating employee records (e.g., new addresses, promotions, or terminations) in the human resources information system.
- Documentation: Auditing personnel files to ensure all compliance documents (I-9s, NDAs, etc.) are signed and filed correctly.
- Reporting: Pulling basic data for weekly reports on headcount or turnover.
