About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and business-driven HR Business Partner (HRBP) to support our fast-growing kidswear retail business. The role will closely work with retail leadership, store teams, and corporate functions to drive people strategy, performance, and employee engagement across stores and head office.

Key Responsibilities

🔹 Business Partnering

• Act as a strategic partner to retail leadership and store managers
• Align HR strategies with business goals for store expansion and performance
• Drive manpower planning for SIS, MBO, and EBO formats

🔹 Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

• Manage end-to-end hiring for retail stores, including store managers, sales associates, and cluster heads
• Ensure quick turnaround hiring for new store launches and ramp-ups
• Build talent pipeline for frontline retail roles

🔹 Employee Engagement & Retention

• Drive engagement initiatives across stores and HO
• Conduct regular store visits and connect with employees on-ground
• Implement retention strategies for high attrition roles in retail

🔹 Performance Management

• Drive KPI-based performance management for retail teams
• Support business in setting KRAs, appraisals, and incentive structures
• Monitor productivity metrics like sales per employee, conversion, etcOversee payroll inputs, attendance, and HR operations for retail staff
• Handle employee grievances and disciplinary actions

🔹 Learning & Development

• Identify training needs for retail teams (product, selling skills, grooming)
• Drive onboarding and continuous learning initiatives

Key Requirements

• 6–10 years of HR experience, preferably in Retail / Apparel / Fashion industry
• Strong exposure to Retail HR (Store hiring + operations)
• Experience in SIS (Shop-in-Shop), MBO, EBO formats preferred
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Willingness to travel across store locations
