About The Role
We are currently seeking a Human Resources Representative for a six-month contract opportunity within the healthcare sector. This role offers an excellent chance for professionals with a background in HR, customer service, or benefits administration to contribute to a reputable hospital system dedicated to advancing medical knowledge and improving health outcomes through research. Candidates with a minimum of five years of related experience will be considered favorably. A strong understanding of HR policies, payroll procedures, and personnel management, especially within the University of California system, is preferred. Exceptional written communication skills are essential for articulating ideas clearly and professionally. Interpersonal skills must include the ability to interact diplomatically with a diverse range of stakeholders, including faculty, staff, and administrators. Candidates should demonstrate excellent time management, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Responsibilities
The Human Resources Representative will be responsible for a broad spectrum of duties designed to support the HR department and enhance organizational efficiency. Key responsibilities include providing outstanding customer service to internal and external stakeholders, addressing inquiries with professionalism and diplomacy. You will manage calendars, coordinate meetings, and handle administrative tasks such as preparing and tracking expenses. Utilizing your expertise in HR-related systems and applications, you will streamline processes, improve workflow, and ensure compliance with organizational policies. You will also assist in maintaining accurate records, updating employee information, and supporting onboarding and offboarding processes. Handling confidential information with integrity and discretion is paramount. Additionally, staying current with university policies, regulations, and procedures is essential to ensure compliance and effective communication. The role also involves interacting effectively with faculty, staff, and administrators, often requiring tact and diplomacy to resolve issues and facilitate smooth operations.
